What you can do
- Add Text — click anywhere to drop a text box, type, then drag it into position. Adjust font size, bold, and color from the panel that appears when it's selected.
- Signature — draw your signature with mouse or finger, or upload an image of one. Drag it into place and resize it to fit.
- Highlight — drag over a line to mark it with a translucent highlighter color, just like a real marker.
- Whiteout — cover any text you want gone with a clean white block, then use Add Text on top to put in the correction.
- Move, resize, delete — every element you add can be dragged, resized from its corner handle, or removed with a click.

- For a transparent signature, draw it here instead of photographing one on paper.
- Uploading your own signature image? A PNG with a transparent background blends in far better than a JPG with a white square around it.
- To "edit" existing PDF text, cover it with Whiteout first, then place a new Text box on top with the correct wording.

Frequently asked questions
Can I directly edit the existing text inside my PDF?Not the original text itself — PDFs don't store text as an editable document the way Word does. Instead, cover the old text with Whiteout and place a new Text box with the correct wording on top; visually it reads as a normal edit.
How does the signature tool work?Click Signature, then either draw with your mouse or finger on the pad, or upload an existing signature image. Insert it and drag it into position on the page.
Will my signature have a see-through background?Yes, if you draw it in the pad — the canvas has no background fill, so only your strokes are saved. Uploaded JPGs will keep whatever background they already have.
