QR codes that look like they belong to you
A QR code doesn't have to be a plain black-and-white square — it can carry your brand's colors and your logo right in the middle. Our QR Code Generator turns any text or link into a code, lets you style it with your own colors, and overlays a logo in the center while keeping it fully scannable.
How to make a QR code
- Choose Text or Link — type a message, or paste a URL.
- Pick your colors — set the QR color and background to match your brand.
- Choose a size and error correction level — higher error correction keeps the code scannable even with a logo covering part of it.
- Add a logo (optional) — upload an image to place in the center.
- Download — save as a crisp PNG, ready to print or share.
Where this helps
Business cards & menusLink straight to your website, menu or contact card with a branded code.
Event materialsPoint attendees to a registration page or schedule with a scan.
Packaging & labelsAdd a scannable link to product info, instructions or a warranty page.
Plain text codesShare a Wi-Fi password, a short note or contact details without typing a link.
Tips for a reliable scan
- Keep good contrast between the QR color and background — very light colors on light backgrounds may not scan.
- Adding a logo? Switch error correction to "High (H)" so the code still works with part of it covered.
- Test your code with a phone camera before printing it anywhere.
- For print, use "Large" or "Extra large" size so the code stays sharp at print resolution.
Frequently asked questions
Can I really put an image inside a QR code? Not the image data itself — QR codes can only hold text or a link. What this tool does is place your logo visually on top of the code, in the center, while keeping the surrounding pattern scannable.
Why does adding a logo need a higher error correction level?QR codes include redundancy so they can still be read even if part of the pattern is damaged or covered. A higher level (like H) leaves more room for a logo without breaking the scan.
Will a custom color code scan on any phone?Yes, as long as there's enough contrast between the QR color and the background. Avoid pairing two very similar light colors.
Does the code expire? No — once downloaded, the image is a static code with your content baked in. It works for as long as the website or information it points to remains valid.
Is my content private?Yes — everything is generated locally in your browser. Your text, link and logo are never uploaded anywhere.
Do I need to install anything? No, it's a browser-based tool — nothing to download or install on your computer.
