Frequently asked questions

Will my Excel sheet look exactly the same in the PDF?For typical sheets such as ledgers, invoices, reports and price lists, the result is very close to Excel's own print output: same column widths, row heights, fonts, number formats (for example ₹ 1,25,000.00, percentages and dates), borders, fill colours, merged cells, page breaks and your print settings. Charts and drawn shapes are not included.
My sheet is wide and gets split over several pages. How do I fit it on one page?Choose "Fit all columns on one page width" in the options. The tool shrinks the sheet so every column fits across the page, instead of printing the extra columns on separate pages.
Are page setup, print area and print titles respected?Yes. The paper size, orientation, margins, scale, fit-to-page, print area, repeated title rows, manual page breaks, gridline printing and header/footer text (page numbers, sheet name, date) from your Excel file are used. You can also override the paper size and orientation.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded to a server? No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your file is never uploaded, so confidential data stays private.
Which Excel formats are supported?Modern Excel files with the .xlsx extension. For an old .xls file, open it in Excel and use File > Save As > Excel Workbook (.xlsx) first.
Is the text in the PDF selectable? What about Hindi or other scripts?English and other Latin-script text is real, selectable text. Hindi, Gujarati and other scripts are drawn using your device's fonts so they look right, but that part is a picture and cannot be selected.
Is it free? Can I convert many files at once?It is free, with no signup and no watermark. Add several files and download each PDF separately or all of them as a ZIP.
